I recently went to a fine restaurant. It was enchanting to see fine dressed men and women, engaged in their own spaces. Mostly all were young. I could see girls giggling. I saw men bragging to their loved ones. I saw couples eating anonymous dishes. I saw men trying to pay bills. I saw that lustrous wait in most of them. I was about to turn around when I saw this couple, and my eyes just seem to stick to their dispositions. My mind stopped working and my heart yelled aloud, "Yes, this is what it should be like!" I saw an old couple, just watching each other- holding each other's hand below the table top. Saying nothing-not even whispers. Not moving. Just looking at each other-as if meditating and I thought meditation is divine. There was a faint expresion of a pure smile. They seem to be lost-in each other; they were just breathing in this world. I saw a little somebody approach them and ask, "Granda Pa, what were you doing in the mean time?" "Nothing my angel, I and your grand mother were having a long chat." Yes, indeed, amidst this artificial Hosh Posh, they were speaking to each other neither through words, nor through whispers but through the words of Silence! I dont know whether we can learn this language may be it can never be learnt; may be we happen to know it and didn't knew about it, and realise it when we suddenly start speaking through our eyes.
With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there are some that come along that have an important message, and this is one of those kinds.I just had to share it with you. " The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way. " Peace is seeing a sunset and knowing who to thank............
